While there do seem to be many examples of the Futuro in Australia & New Zealand I have not been able to find
much information on them on the Internet. If anyone has more information to
contribute on the Futuros down there would appreciate hearing from you.

These are modified Futuro's [called "googies"] and were manufactured under licence in Adelaide. Originally, in the 1990s, four of the googies were sent to Heard Island and one to Mawson. Currently [as of May 2005], two of them are located at Bechervaise Island, one at Hop Island and two at Macquarie Island (Brothers Point and Waterfall Bay).
